I have measured out my life with coffee spoons. -TS Eliot
Coffee. Need I say more? You can’t head out for an early morning fishing trip without it! So please stop here 🙂. You won’t regret it.
Perk is my happy place. I don’t care how rough your morning is going, but stop in here, and this place and these people will make you smile and hook you up. You’ll feel like a whole new person when you leave, and oh so ready to take on the day! Their drinks are amazing and so is the food. My daily is a 16-ounce black coffee in my Hydro Flask mug and an Orange Lavender muffin from Dreamboat Market nextdoor (which are available for purchase at Perk on Park when you order your coffee).
The owners, Michelle and Emily, are an ⭐AMAZING⭐ mother-daughter duo. They aren’t new to the coffee business - they are pros, and it shows. The coffee is always HOT! The service always PERFECT. The quality is always SPOT ON.
You're never lonely here.
I’m a coffee shop junky. When I was traveling alone and living out of my car, you never felt lonely at a coffee shop. There was always someone to say Hi to. And who doesn’t love to people watch? I’m never lonely at Perk. And when I’m sad, they always make me happy.
Coffee shops are the pulse of a town ♥️. Want to get to know a city? Go to all the coffee shops and watch who comes in. Watch how they treat the staff, and how the staff treats the customer. Listen to what everyone talks about. Look at what clothes people wear. Shoes can tell you so much about a person and their spirit. Sit in a coffee shop, and you'll find out real quick if it’s a town for you.
When I sit at Perk, I just love the people who come in. One minute it could be a famous actor. The next, a rancher 🤠. The next, two little kids who have a $10 bill. Little kids don’t run around towns where I grew up. But here, it’s the norm. The baristas at Perk always greet their customers by name. That’s how you know it’s a lovely town. Whether you are rich or poor, young or old, weird or normal (whatever that is), you're treated the same here.
Thank you Rob and Lee for attempting to teach me how to play cribbage! I'm still failing at that a bit 🤣. And THANK YOU Perk for making the world a better, brighter place, one cup of coffee at a time! ⭐🌍
"What's your favorite place?"
"I don't have a favorite place. I have my favorite people. And whenever I'm with my favorite people, it becomes my favorite place." - Unknown
Things we love:
The people! The staff and the customers are amazing and one of a kind. Eclectic. Fearless. Funny. Gritty. Need I say more? There are cowboys, magicians, CEOs, moms, and poets in here. You name it, they're here.
The curtains (I know this is crazy, but cute curtains make all the difference. They are hand made from coffee bean bags! How cool is that? 🥰)
The coffee! These ladies know how to brew the best ☕.
100% reliable hours. Everyday baby... these folks are dedicated to their customers and I love knowing that if I'm having a hard day, I can always swing by, get a cup of Joe and it makes my day.
You can order online here. I love that!
Why I love Perk on Park:
They are run by some of the brightest, hardest working, kind and awesome humans. Owners Emily and Michelle work so hard to keep the coffee flowing for all the townies and tourists alike. And the rest of the baristas have the same spirit. I love the girl power here!
What Winston has to say:
I LOVE sitting outside the coffee shop. Everyone comes to pet me. Ask for a dog treat when you order, and I'll be ready to gulp it down from you! 🐶
How to find them:
Look for the Yellow Dog sitting out front on most mornings. Or:
113 West Park Street
Livingston, MT 59047
Check them out on Facebook!
And look who I ran into on my way out?
As I was leaving Perk one morning, I ran into this awesome human. "Oh my gosh! It's SpongeBob," I said. "Can I get a photo with you? You're kind of my hero!" And he was kind enough to let me take a photo with him 🙂.
This is one of THE best actors I've ever seen perform. The talent! 🌟 The spirit of this guy! 🌟 It's inspiring. I saw Devon perform as the lead character in SpongeBob at the Shane Lanai Center for the Performing Arts, and it made my jaw drop. I was like who the heck is this guy?! He is so awesome. You rock Devon. Your performance made me so happy!
And thanks for taking a pic with one crazy stranger.
